Equip yourself with the emotional insight and communication tools that every lawyer needs.

About This Workshop:

Litigation may be a legal process, but for your clients, it’s a deeply personal unraveling. As a legal professional, you’re not just handling facts and paperwork—you’re often managing people at their emotional limits.

This interactive three-hour workshop, led by psychotherapist and PracticeForte affiliate Sanaa Lundgren, is designed to help you better navigate the psychological turbulence your clients bring to the table. Through psychoeducation, real-world case scenarios, and grounded communication techniques, this workshop equips you with essential skills to respond effectively to distress, anxiety, and avoidance.

Learn how to maintain composure, protect your professional boundaries, and foster a sense of emotional containment that benefits both your client’s wellbeing and the progress of the legal case.

What You’ll Learn:
  • Spot the Signs
Recognise how stress, anxiety, and depression commonly manifest in litigation clients.
  • Defuse Emotional Intensity
Learn how to defuse emotional intensity and foster clear communication.
  • Decode Client Behaviour
Identify and respond to emotional behaviours like blame, withdrawal, and flooding.
  • Build Self-Awareness
Reflect on personal triggers and develop strategies for boundary setting.
  • Apply Real-World Skills
Practice real-time responses using guided case scenario discussions.
  • Take Away Practical Tools
Receive psychoeducational resources to support continued learning and application.
